The latest installment after STAR TREK: INTO THE DARKNESS. This time we are introduced to a new and massive Space Station called YORKTOWN. It's like a city in a massive orbit. The USS ENTERPRISE was away on missions far from Earth and needed to stop by the station. Came a distress signal that they could not resist to explore but ended up by being lured into a trap... Typical? That's not even the good part yet. New enemies and new allies emerged with true friendships being tested again. Seemed like a roller coaster when the director of FAST & FURIOUS take over this franchise. Turns out ok with elements of humanity and action remained as the core essences for it. There's even an antic motorcycle playing an important role in this... SERIOUSLY?!? I feel the director still hooked on fast cars.

The element of space with vast of unknown, this movie still captured our attention with emotions and humanity. Love, friendships and trust plays vital roles. Not too much of everything, just at a pace of convenience and adrenaline rush towards the end... Just like a car race.

THE BAD
Nothing that's bad. Maybe a little more history on USS FRANKLIN (hint hint) might get things more excited. And the beloved USS ENTERPRISE gets another massive makeover... literally.
